There are many fantastic groups in the city, just too long of a drive for me sometimes... So I decided to start my own and see how it goes. This group is for dog owners that love walks and scouting some new places around, going to dog friendly parks/places. I also included cat lovers since I am a pet photographer wishing to be able to photograph some cats and learn their behavior better. Looking forward to meet some local pet lovers soon!

Pets are a part of the family, bring much love and joy into our lives. As with all friends and family, we want them to be happy and healthy, throughout their life. Having navigated, researched and tried many different modalities, I found that there is a void for the mainstream families. The group will be a combination of information sharing and classes. All members are encouraged express their interests and share their experiences.

This meet-up group will support a variety of events that benefit PAWS of Tinley Park. We are a no-kill animal shelter with a 38 year history. We find homes for approximately 1,100 furry friends each year. One hundred percent of all donations support our animals as we are a volunteer shelter. Our events include dog walks, bingo, dances, auctions, flower sales, and just about any event that will raise funds for the animals. Either attend or help plan or run one of our events.
